The Driving or Parking of
vehicles on the grass lawns and verges in The Three Counties (TCA)
Showground is prohibited. Any vehicle driver or owner observed breaking
this regulation will have their vehicle removed and all costs in
reinstating the grass will be charged to the driver or owner.
All commercial traders must
have Public Liability and Products Insurance. Part-time traders, clubs and
private exhibitors must have ‘Third Party Risk’ insurance and have the
documentation available for inspection by the Show Organisers, the TCA
Exhibition Managers or Health and Safety Officers.
Exhibitors must not affix any
items to the walls, floors or ceilings of the exhibition halls without the
organisers written permission, any damage or cost of removal, will be
charged to the exhibitor.
Security
Personnel will patrol within the exhibition halls from 10.00 Hrs on
Saturday to 16.00 Hrs on Sunday. The exhibition halls doors will be
secured from 17.00 Hrs on Saturday to 07.30 Hrs on Sunday. Military
Conventions and the TCA will not accept responsibility or liability for
the damage, loss or theft of exhibitors’ goods, personal effects or
vehicles stored on the grounds or within the exhibition halls of the TCA.
Exhibitors must display
Vehicle and Personal Passes. Entry to the exhibition halls will be refused
if passes are not visible. Lost passes will only be replaced for a fee of
£5.00 each.
Inert
Explosive Devices can be displayed or sold if the vendor or owner can
demonstrate that the item has been previously dismantled to prove that it
is ‘Free from Explosives’. The item must have a label attached to declare
that it is ‘Free from Explosive Material’. TCA Shows do not accept any
responsibility or liability for the inspection of the device. Offenders
not observing this rule will be ordered to cease trading or displaying and
leave the exhibition immediately and without recompense.
Used
Fuel Containers can be displayed or sold if the vendor or owner can
demonstrate that the container is not contaminated with fuel or any other
inflammable liquid. The container must have a label attached declaring the
container is ‘Free from Explosive Material’. TCA Shows do not accept
responsibility or liability for the inspection of the container. Offenders
not observing this rule will be ordered to cease trading or displaying and
leave the
exhibition halls immediately and without recompense.
The display and or sale of a
Deactivated Weapon at the show is allowed if the vendor or owner has a
British Proof House Certificate of Deactivation. The certificate must be
attached to the weapon, or be readily available for Police inspection.
Replica Guns or Guns Manufactured solely as blank firing devices can be
displayed and sold Live firing or blank ammunition is NOT allowed to be
displayed or sold and must not be brought on to the TCA showground.
Offenders not observing this rule will be ordered to cease trading or
displaying and leave the exhibition halls immediately and without
recompense.
Non
Deactivated Firearms or Parts are strictly forbidden and must not be
brought onto the TCA Showground or within the exhibition halls.
Offenders will be reported to the Police, and ordered to leave the
exhibition immediately and without recompense.
Exhibitors are responsible
for the disposal of all litter on their stands. Bin bags are supplied free
and when full should be deposited in the litter bins provided. The removal
of any litter remaining on exhibitors’ stands at the end of the
exhibitors’ tenancy will be charged to the exhibitor.
The use of naked flame
appliances such as heaters, lighting and cooking equipment is prohibited
within the exhibition halls.
The movement of any motorised
vehicle within the exhibition halls, during the public open hours (09.00
Hrs to 16.00 Hrs) is prohibited. Motorised vehicles being driven within
the exhibition hall during the set-up and dismantling period are limited
to a maximum speed of 2 mph.
Force
Majure: ‘M.M.C. the organisers and the TCA shall not be liable for any
delay or failure to present the whole or part of the exhibition caused by
circumstances outside the companies’ reasonable control. ’Militaria Shows’
reserve the right to decide if refunds, or payments can be made in such
circumstances.
Public
Health & Safety: The Health and Safety at work Act 1974 (Revised 1993) and
all subsequent subordinate Regulations apply at exhibitions. ALL
Exhibitors must consider and take action to prevent any risks that their
actions, products and exhibition stand layout could prove to any employee
and public safety. A written ‘Risk Assessment and Policy Document’ must be
available for inspection on request.
Children
Under 16 and a relative of the exhibitors are allowed within the
exhibition halls on Saturday or before 08.30 Hrs on Sunday or after 16.00
Hrs after the exhibition closes, only if they remain within the exhibitors
stand space, otherwise their presence in the halls contravenes Health and
Safety Regulations.
Exhibitors agree to indemnify
the organisers of ‘M.M.C.’ against all claims, demands and costs incurred,
if they contravene any of the rules in the ‘ Exhibitors Contractual
Regulations’.
In
the event of disputes, the decision of the staff and management of ‘M.M.C.’
and the TCA. Exhibition representatives is final. |
